Matthew 7:14 (NKJV), Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
A few years back when banks started using Air locks security doors, I didn’t know it had a spiritual significance, but over the years, I have come to see that it does.
When you enter a banking hall (at least the ones in Nigeria), the security door determines your eligibility to get in. It basically lets you in; alone. Sometimes when you want to go in with your phones, you raise your hands with your phones up in it as if to say… “Here’s all I’ve got door”. Hmmmn.
Christ said the way to eternal life is the strait gate. It can only let you in; alone. No extra luggage. No unrighteousness. Try taking unwanted things through the bank security door; you’ll see it won’t open. So it is with the strait gate. You can’t take sin along, no matter how hard you try, you’ll have to step out and drop them all. The strait gate is the only way to eternal glory.
Even at the end, at the pearly gates, there’s this feature, allowing only a holy you, to enter heaven.
Why don’t you drop all unwanted baggage by allowing Christ into your heart now, so you could enter in? God bless you!
