“(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did”. Romans 4:17 (NKJV)
The ability to see the invisible, and bring it into physical manifestation through the words we speak is a privilege you have as a child of God. It is one of the things that sets you apart from those who are disconnected from God.
In the beginning when God decided to create mankind, His intention was that we would operate just like Him in being able to bring the invisible into being with our words. In this kingdom of which we’re a part, you cannot see the manifestation of God’s word in your life without speaking it into being.
This should come as no surprise since we had to speak words out of our mouths to even become part of this kingdom (Romans 10:10). However, the kind of words that bring the manifestation of God’s word aren’t idle words; just saying things because someone said you should do so won’t accomplish anything. This is where many have missed it and thus concluded wrongly that speaking the word doesn’t work.
In order for your words to carry any weight and frame your world in line with what you’ve spoken, certain things need to first be settled. First and foremost, you must believe that word in your heart (2 Corinthians 4:13);just like you first had to believe in your heart and then confess or speak with your mouth in order to be saved in the first place.
So, when you truly believe in your heart that God will meet every need of yours and then speak it, you will see that word come true in your case. Speaking without first believing accomplishes nothing.
Another aspect to this is that you need to be consistent about it. You cannot afford to stop believing and speaking the word with regard to any issue in your life. This prize isn’t for quitters; this is the good fight of the faith.
When standing your ground against sickness, you may need to do so for a while before you begin to see the physical manifestation of your constant and unwavering confession of God’s word. You can’t afford to drop off midway; you’ve got to see it through to the logical conclusion. God isn’t a magician, He’s a miracle worker.
Sometimes those miracles will happen in an instant, but other times you will need to stand firmly on His word for a while before the physical falls in line with what has already happened in the spirit. You are a new breed, you’re not ordinary. You were designed to speak like God and create your world like Him.
Don’t be quiet anymore, start speaking the word of God and don’t stop until you see the manifestation in every area of your life.
Today is a gift; don’t let it go to waste.
